Our Senior groups are a place of friendship, fun, and belonging. Our seniors are energetic, full of life and anything but retired! They are active and on the go, have lived through various experiences and have so much to offer.
Senior Center
For over forty years, the shul has been proud to serve as host for the Young Israel of Queens Valley Senior League. The senior center provides affordable hot meals and a myriad of other programs for qualifying residents in our community and beyond.
SPIRIT Initiative
We’ve partnered with the Orthodox Union to offer our seniors SPIRIT – the Stimulating Programs Initiative for Retirees that Inspires Thought. This initiative is organized by our member Rebbetzin Judi Steinig, so be sure to try it out.
QV Kids Magazine
QV Kids love reading great stories, so senior members of YIQV can share their life story with a young reporter and have it featured in our QV Kids Magazine.
