Rabbi Shmuel Marcus
Meet our beloved Rabbi Shmuel Marcus, שליט”א, a distinguished scholar and spiritual leader of our community. Rabbi Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yeshiva College, a Master of Arts in Jewish Education from Azrieli Graduate School, and Semicha from RIETS. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Wexner Kollel Elyon at RIETS.
Rabbi Marcus has been sharing his deep knowledge and love of Torah with students for over a decade. He served as a Rebbe in Yeshiva University’s Stone Beit Midrash Program for ten years and is currently a Rebbe at Beis Medrash L’Talmud – Lander College for Men. He also served as Rav of Kehilas Ishei Yisrael in Kew Gardens Hills for ten years, leaving a lasting impact on that community.
In January of 2017, Rabbi Marcus joined Young Israel of Queens Valley to become our Mara D’asra, leading us in prayer, study, and all aspects of Jewish life. His warm and approachable personality, combined with his deep wisdom and insight, make him a beloved spiritual guide to all who know him.
